Sport Psychology addresses the mental aspects of sport by teaching athletes a variety of mental skills and how to use thought processes to improve performance both at home and in the show ring or pen. In addition, Dr. Timmie Pollock helps riders eliminate fear related to the sport whether the result of a fall or related to other aspects of riding.
Dr. Pollock works with individuals, small groups of riders, and provides sport psychology presentations to groups of any size.
Timmie Pollock, Ph.D.,C.C.AASP has been in practice as a sport psychologist for over 20 years. She specializes in working with equestrian athletes from all disciplines of riding. She is an equestrian herself and has ridden dressage, jumpers, and eventers. She currently rides dressage and breeds and raises warmblood horses.
